How to convert SVG to JPG

Use a white background

Transparent parts of the SVG are placed over white for the JPG output.

Why the background changes

JPG does not carry an alpha channel. The converter renders the SVG over a solid white background before saving the JPEG. Existing colored shapes and backgrounds remain part of the artwork. For a transparent image, choose SVG to PNG instead.

Set the image width

Choose a preset width while keeping the SVG proportions.

Understand the size options

The Image width menu starts at Original size. You can choose 512, 1024, 2048, or 4096 px instead. Height follows the SVG proportions. Very large source canvases are reduced to fit within 4096 px on the longest edge; choose a smaller width if a portrait image would exceed the 4096 px height limit.

Prepare a raster image

JPG is useful when your destination requires a conventional image file.

What to expect from JPG

The converter renders the SVG and saves it with a fixed JPEG quality setting. JPEG compression can change fine edges, small lettering, and flat color areas. There is no quality slider in this tool; compare the downloaded image at its intended size before using it.

Choose SVG file, drop one .svg file into the upload area, or select Use sample SVG. The editor displays the original SVG so you can check its composition before conversion. That preview is not a proof of the exported file: the server removes scripts, external resources, and SVG filters, which can affect the result.

Download and continue

Save the JPG, adjust the width, or start with another SVG.

After your JPG is ready

After conversion, use the Download button to save the result. Back to edit returns to the same SVG; Convert another SVG starts a new file. Where browser storage is available, a temporary draft carries your file between the editor and download pages for up to one hour after you choose the SVG. Refreshing the editor or download page starts a new conversion. Save your finished file to keep a lasting copy.
